Chrome Extension Installation

Detailed Steps

The SmarterProctoring automated system requires a Chrome extension to be installed. If you attempt to start your session without the extension, you will see the following message indicating the extension is not installed.

Please follow the steps below to install the extension:

  1. Click on the button that says "Get the SmarterProctoring extension". This will open a new tab that takes you to the Google Chrome Store.
  2. Click the Add to Chrome button.

  3. A confirmation dialog will appear, click Add Extension.

  4. You will see a final confirmation box once the extension has been installed. At this point you can close this tab and return to SmarterProctoring.

  5. When returning back to SmarterProctoring, you will see the message regarding the missing extension is gone and you are now ready to proceed with your exam session. Click the Continue button to get started.
